Silver Jubilee Recreational Park

Located on the banks of the Kedayan River, the Silver Jubilee Monument, completed in July 2002, was built to commemorate His Majesty the Sultan's Silver Jubilee celebration.

The monument's design consists of circular arches with Bruneian motifs and a fountain at the center in the form of a gangsa, a traditional Malay tray. Designed by a local prominent architect, the whole project was funded by the private sector. The area includes a recreational park where children can play the slides and sand, while the adults can enjoy outdoor recreational activities or have a picnic.

Benches are provided near the play area and it's really a fun place to blow soap bubbles. The park is near the highway between the Kiulap shopping area and STPRI secondary school. Parking spaces are provided near the park itself so it's really easy to get there. Just don't go when it's raining, unless you decide to play in the rain, in which case, remember to bring raincoats :D
