Team explore magic

When I was little, I used to love watching magic shows on TV. I would imagine myself creating flowers out of thin air, making rings go through glass, using my magic powers to float heavy objects and most importantly, turn small gold into bigger ones. I was a materialistic kid living in a fantasy world.

If I could only learn magic...
As I got taller, but not necessarily wiser, I realised that the television lies. The magician didn't really have super fantastic mysterious magical powers, only extremely clever well-planned practiced tricks. I was extremely disappointed at the time. My dream, to one day meet a magician and ask him to teach me how to turn simple paper into money, was shattered.

Now that I've reached my maximum height, I look back at those moments, and I realised that I did indeed felt the magic. I felt that unicorns and fairies exist and contemplated on becoming a mermaid one day. It weighed heavily on me as I thought about never coming back on land again, contrasted with feelings of anticipation when I will be making friends with the dolphins. I also wanted to look for pearls

and sunken treasures.
I told you I was materialistic.

I think magic shows are good for the heart. If I didn't believe in magic as I did when I was smaller, I might have turned into a jaded bottom line girl, and where's the mystery in that?
